About the artist

He is a Netherlands based visual artist mainly focusing on live art, storytelling, installation and lens-based media. His work deals with distance and proximity in intimate systems and natural events.His work is exhibited at the Center for Contemporary Art Znaki Czasu in Torun, Museum MAAT in Lisbon, Museum CODA in Apeldoorn, the Grimmuseum in Berlin and the European Culture Centre Palazzo Mora in Venice. He has a Bachelor in Fine Art and post-graduate at Sundaymorning@EKWC in Oisterwijk. He currently studies a master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Arts in the Hague, in the Netherlands.


His solo performance “When the Colours of the Mind Turn to Reflex-Resist-Reset” is related to the body as a product – or primary source of consumption – in data capitalism. Therefore, his performance gradually questions forms of surveillance and objectification based on the proposition of “witnessing” as phenomenological truth and historical fact. He will use simple sounds and gestures to map out – maintain and manipulate – the space around him. The performance is part of his overall project World in a Cocoon.
