Chris Regn
About the artist
Christine Regn (alias Helga Broll) was born in 1964 in Nuremberg, Germany. She lives and works between Hamburg and Basel.
As a conceptual artist, she creates works that combine research, video, and diverse forms of storytelling and representation. Her practice explores the potential embedded in cultural traditions and the ways stories are constructed and communicated. An important source of inspiration comes from her curatorial work at Kaskadenkondensator in Basel and from collaborations with performance and artistic collectives such as Evi, Nic & C, Tischgespräche, and Art+Feminism, an international initiative dedicated to creating and editing Wikipedia entries.
Together with the performance group Evi, Nic & C and the collective Les Reines Prochaines, she has co-created numerous stage productions through collaborative artistic processes, including Cabaret, Dragking Trekking Show, The Vegan Opera, and many others.
Ooh Niki
The performance begins with a short introduction to a five-minute song dedicated to Niki de Saint Phalle. The song is performed in German and English and will be presented with Polish subtitles. Through music and image, the work pays tribute to the renowned artist, celebrating her life, creativity, and artistic legacy.
