Dominik Jałowiński

About the artist

Visual artist, performer, painter, creator of collages. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where in 2008 he defended his diploma in the studio of prof. Krzysztof Wachowiak at the Faculty of Painting. In 2015 he was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

At the beginning, he carried out his artistic activities in the Aspekt Gallery at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and also took part in the European Performance Art Festival EPAF’07 in Lublin and the International Festival of Performance Art in the Arsenał Gallery in Białystok.

His work could be seen in the Foksal Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Sculpture Xawery Dunikowski Królikarnia (a branch of the National Museum) in Warsaw, the Mazovian Center for Contemporary Art “Elektrownia” in Radom, as well as the Ludwig Museum in Budapest and the Museum of Yugoslavia History in Belgrade.
