Performance description
Ewa Zarzycka is one of Poland’s leading conceptual performance artists and is best known for her distinctive form of spoken performance. For more than twenty years, she has been creating fictional yet deeply recognizable narratives that blur the boundaries between art and everyday life. Filled with subtle absurdity and humour, her performances revolve around conversations and encounters with people from her daily world—family members, neighbours and ordinary acquaintances. By intertwining fiction with reality, Zarzycka invites audiences to reflect on the nature of art, language and everyday experience.
