Grzegorz Rogala
About the artist
Between 1976 and 1981, he studied at the Cinematography Department of PWSFTviT in Łódź. Since 1988, he has been running Studio Rogala, dealing with film production and post-production. He has completed or participated in the implementation of about 800 film and advertising projects. He completed his PhD degree at the Intermedia Department of the University of Arts in Poznań. For 10 years, he has been actively involved in artistic film, photography and interactive art projects. His works are in the collections of the National Museum in Warsaw, the National Museum in Gdańsk as well as in private collections in France, New Zealand, Germany, the Netherlands, and Poland. Since 2007, together with Joanna Krzysztoń and Józef Piwkowski, he has been running the 2b+r gallery in Warsaw. He has had over 40 collective and individual exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Since 2011, he has been a lecturer at the Graphics Department of the WIT in Warsaw. He lives and works in Warsaw.
