Jagoda Kwiatkowska

Jagoda Kwiatkowska (b. 1991) is a Polish visual artist, performer and activist. Her work explores mental health, identity and post-traumatic spaces shaped by social and personal crises, including climate change, war and individual experiences of loss. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the University of Warsaw and is a member of the feminist art collective Kolektyw Łaski.

Her works have been presented internationally in Japan, Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Kosovo and Argentina. She has participated in artistic residencies in Bratislava and Brno and is a recipient of the Allegro Prize and the Young Wolves Award.

Combining performance, sound art, poetry and participatory practices, Kwiatkowska investigates the relationship between humans and nature, the emotional impact of the climate crisis and the collective potential of shared listening and experience.

“Warm Words”

Warm Words is an immersive sound-performance project addressing climate anxiety and the search for ways to process ecological grief. The work emerged from the artist’s personal experiences of flooding and her reflections on the growing impact of climate change.

At its core is a multi-channel ASMR composition created from environmental recordings captured with hydrophones and geophones, combined with whispered texts, poetry and excerpts from eco-feminist literature. The audience is invited into a meditative listening experience designed to encourage reflection, emotional care and reconnection with the natural world.

The project also incorporates a series of glass sculptures functioning as experimental musical instruments. Responding to touch, vibration and water movement, they generate delicate sonic textures that reflect the fragility of ecosystems and the vulnerability of environments under climate pressure.
