Joanna Krzysztoń

Having studied under professor J. Tarasin, she received a diploma with honors from the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1978. Between 1978 and 1981, she was a member of the experimental Warsaw-based theatre Akademia Ruchu. From 1995, she collaborated as a stylist with various interior design magazines. In 2007, she received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. She co-runs the 2b+r gallery (22 Bukowińska St., Warsaw) and practices painting and its multimedia forms. She is the author of over 20 individual exhibitions. She has participated in dozens of group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Since 2011, she has been teaching painting at WIT in Warsaw.
