The Masovian Museum in Płock invites all fans of art to the 2nd International Festival of Performing Arts "Opowieści" (Stories). The festival will last from 25 to 27 July 2025 and take place at the Masovian Museum in Płock (two locations: Tumska 8 and Kolegialna 6). It will consist of performances by several key international artists as well as young artists, artistic installations, film screenings, and meetings. The curator of the festival, Małgorzata Sady, has invited both leading performers with a long track record and artists who are just starting their careers. The event will be attended by, among others, Ewa Zarzycka (PL), Alastair MacLennan (Northern Ireland/Scotland), Hubert Zemler (PL), Ralph Peters and Susanne Weins (Germany), and a group of female Swiss artists - Muda Mathis, Sus Zwick, Fränziska Madoerin, Chris Regn, and Dorotea Rust. Together with Kiersty Boon, we will also pay homage to David Thomas (USA/UK), passed away in 2025 - an iconic figure of worldwide importance in the field of music. At the festival, we will experience various modes of art, from performance art to music, film, poetry, installations, theatre, and new media art. The festival will engage with spectators, ask important questions, and build a platform of understanding. It will be a worldwide-scale event, due to the presence of artists and spectators coming from many European countries and the universal character of the topics discussed. "Stories" is a continuation of the 2023 International Festival of Performing Arts. You are cordially invited! The entry to all the festival events is free. Come to enjoy it with us and have an amazing weekend!
