Themerson workshops “Me and the whole world except me”
We have a great offer for the end of November!!!
The Masovian Museum in Płock cordially invites students of grades 5-8 together with teachers to the workshops “Me and the whole world except me” inspired by the work of Franciszka and Stefan Themerson, avant-garde artists associated with Płock and valued all over the world.
The workshop lasts approximately 2 hours. Participation in it is free. The days to choose from are November 21, 22, 23 and 24.
The first part of the workshop will be a performance by the Multi Form Theater, the second part will be an art game.
Themerson workshops aim to familiarize children with the Themerson works, deepen their sense of identity and its social aspects, and develop creative abilities.
The content contained in the books “Przygody Pędrka Wyrzutka”, “Adventures of Marcelianka”, “Poczta”, “The Birth of Letters” will allow you to talk to children about themselves, who they are, how we are different and how we are similar, and about communication .
We are also waiting for groups of people with special needs – adults and children. We have prepared special tours for you of our multimedia exhibition “In Praise of Happy Chance” and art workshops related to the Themersons’ work.
We are waiting for registration by calling 24 364 70 72 and 24 364 70 83.
Workshops and guided tours are part of the “Stories. The world is more complicated than our laws about it”, implemented by the Masovian Museum in Płock in partnership with the Kunstbanken Center for Contemporary Art in Hamar, Norway, and financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (MF EEA_ 2014 – 2021).
